Growing up, my only dream was to work in the entertainment industry. Taking part in school and church plays, joining school choirs, and becoming heavily involved in theater arts programs only increased my aspirations. As a high school senior, I joined the Television Production class where I first learned camera techniques, editing, and working with graphics software. It became evident that this would be the road I would pursue.

Soon after high school, I acquired a job as a Video Editor for a Cable Television Advertising firm. Though I was editing 3/4" tapes and BetaCam SP, I was first exposed to non-linear editing in this budding environment. I enrolled in various communication classes in college, such as Acting, Speech for Stage and Screen, and Drawing, and eventually received my Associate of Applied Science in Radio-Television Broadcasting.

Throughout this timeline, I spent many years working in the hospitality industry and have gained great patience and understanding in dealing with various social circumstances. I briefly worked at Walt Disney World as part of the Disney College Program, and I spent many years working in restaurants as a server, bartender, and Front of House coordinator.

After leaving my last restaurant job, I began working as a performer at SeaWorld, but eventually, I switched over to a more video intensive position as Video FX Operator and Technical Director at Shamu Theater. I then decided to enhance these skills by learning 3D modeling and animation after noticing how much traditional video work was integrating with newer technology.

I have since received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Animation and have been employed as a graphic designer in marketing at NewTek, and as a multimedia specialist at USAA. My years of experience along with my staggered time spent in educational facilities have bestowed me with unparalleled skills and proficiencies.
